I’m not much of a concert-goer, but I think tickets to QOTSA might get me out of the house, especially if they were free .

My wife gave me tickets to the Foo Fighters for Christmas. The concert’s on a Sunday night, so I’m looking forward to having a long weekend!

I saw them in Richmond, first official show of the tour. It was fucking amazing.

Edit: You should plan to take Monday off or go in late, cause the show won’t end till midnight. They play for a loooong time.

Some friends dragged us to see the Molly Ringwalds (an ‘80s tribute band) a couple of years ago. It had been a long time since I’d seen a live band. I’d forgotten how loud it could be, especially right in front of the stage. I  already have some tinni tus, so this set my ears to really ringing. I learned my lesson. Now I carry earplugs to every event where I think it might get a bit loud.
